Our founder, Lauren Hart, has recently joined the Occupational Therapy Australia NDIS National Reference Group. This group brings together occupational therapists from across Australia with knowledge, skills and experience in the NDIS and disability sector in Australia. Occupational Therapy Australia is the peak body for occupational therapists in Australia, dedicated to promoting occupational therapy, delivering evidence-based practice to clients and supporting occupational therapists through the duration of their career.

Lauren is looking forward to connecting with a diverse range of occupational therapists in the group, all of whom have a strong interest in advocating for our profession, and the therapists working in this space.

As part of her volunteer committee role, Lauren attends regular meetings to contribute to discussions on disability and the NDIS and provide feedback to support OTA’s work and advocacy in the disability sector.

At Optimal Therapy, we are passionate about relevant and current client-centered care for people with disabilities. It is a privilege to be involved with Occupational Therapy Australia and their work in the Australian disability sector.
