Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is the physical environment (eg. a home) of a participant that has been specially designed for people with high support needs and access requirements.
The NDIS provides SDA funding for participants so that they can have more choice around where they live, whilst also ensuring those homes can support their accessibility needs. Currently there are limited homes in Western Australia that have been certified to an SDA standard, thus limiting the options available to those participants that have been granted funding. The goal is to have many homes around different areas of WA available.

SDA Certifications
We can provide SDA Certifications for homes thanks to our qualified Access consultant. This includes a design consultation and compliance stage, a provisional compliance stage and an as-built compliance stage. We also work closely with you to guide you through the certification process and design SDA homes that participants want to live in.
