Launching in May 2021, our team is expanding to support clients in the Great Southern region. As a registered NDIS provider for occupational therapy, we will be offering our diverse range of services to adult individuals with a range of neurological conditions, such as Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Huntington’s disease.
Senior Occupational Therapist Julia Salmon will support our clients in the Great Southern region to achieve their goals and live a connected and fulfilling life with the following services:
- Functional capacity assessments
- SDA eligibility assessments
- SDA transition
- Capacity building and rehabilitation
- Assistive technology
Meet Julia Salmon
Completing her occupational therapy training in the UK in 1989, Julia Salmon has worked all over the world and settled in Western Australia in 2009. Throughout her career, she has worked in community-based rehabilitation in remote hilltop villages in the Pacific Region, large tertiary hospitals in New Zealand, community disability in NSW and WA, regional hospital and community services, and as an equipment consultant for suppliers in Sydney and Perth.
As part of the Optimal Therapy team, Julia will create a regional hub for NDIS clients and provide them and their support network with a high-quality service.
