Nicole is an Occupational Therapist with a background in support work and OT experience across acute inpatient settings in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.
Her experience is centred on supporting clients to safely discharge home from hospital, ensuring adequate supports are in place, providing equipment (AT) and liaising with others within the MDT, such as physiotherapy.
Nicole’s Qualifications:
I chose to become an Occupational Therapist after working for many years as a support worker in the disability field. I have always loved working with people and knew I wanted to be in a role that worked alongside individuals to break down barriers and support to achieve their goals.
Working face to face with clients, building genuine rapport and connections with clients and their families. Completing assessments and therapy to work towards achieving patients’ goals. I also love the flexibility and variation within the OT role, no two days are the same.
