Why did you choose a career in the Occupational Therapy industry?

I chose a career in occupational therapy because it provided me with the opportunity to work in a person-centred industry where I can support and empower individuals to meet their goals in a unique way. It is a job that is varied, works with a range of different people and can be both creative and hands-on.

What is the best part of your job?

I love connecting with people, listening to stories, forming collaborative relationships that work towards individual goals and achieving positive outcomes together. I love that OT is about providing people with support to do the day-to-day things that bring meaning to their lives. It is a privilege to support people to live the life they want to lead.
