Get to know Nandi:

Why did you choose a career in the Occupational Therapy industry?

I’ve always had an interest in the health sciences growing up but only heard of Occupational Therapy in my first year at University while studying a different field. Everything about Occupational Therapy and its diversity intrigued me and I wanted to be a part of it. I love how Occupational Therapy can make a difference by directly treating a patient or client and impacting change on the community, government, state, and national levels.

What is the best part of your job?

The role as Project Coordinator has enabled me to use skills I have gained over many years as a therapist in different settings but has also challenged me to learn and develop new skills, which has been very rewarding. The project will have a positive impact on service delivery for clients in regional areas and I am excited to see that goal come to fruition.
